For the FAE Level 3 & Level 4 Diploma in Fitness Instruction and Personal Training, learners can attend between 7 to 10 workshop days.
We would advise learners to leave themselves sufficient time in order to complete suitable learning before attending workshop days. This helps learners maximise the learning benefit and chances of a successful assessment. Your tutor would advise you on how best to do this.
Before attending the Level 3 & Level 4 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training workshop, we recommend completing the three core sections of the Fitness Assistant online learning, as well as the following modules:
This preparation helps cover the more theoretical components of the course. Typically, learners should have submitted and passed all assessments for these modules prior to the workshop.
During the workshop, the focus is primarily on the practical elements of your qualification, while also reinforcing key theoretical concepts previously covered in your online learning.
You’ll get access to the following:
Access to an online learning platform featuring extensive content that has been developed expressly for each individual training course unit.
You will have the option to check your understanding of each unit using a knowledge checker. Each question in the knowledge checker has been carefully selected from a very large question bank. These might be true or false, multiple choice, fill in the blank, mark the words or any number of other types of questions!
You will have an access to our exercise library with over 700 different exercises. Whether you're a beginning exerciser who needs help getting started or someone who wants to add some spice to your fitness routine, our FAE Exercise Library offers a variety of movements to choose from. Browse through total-body exercises or movements that target more specific areas of the body. Each comes with a detailed description and photos to help ensure proper form.
You are required to go to a workshop as part of the curriculum for your personal training course. On each of these days, there will be a total of four sessions: two in the morning and two in the afternoon. A review of previously acquired knowledge is followed immediately by an exercise that puts that information to use during each and every session. You will have the opportunity to have open conversations in an atmosphere that is both encouraging and friendly during these sessions, which are led by our knowledgeable personal trainers.
You may check out the reviews that people have left about our personal training workshop days on Google. There have been a lot of favorable comments.
We strongly encourage you to provide your own recordings of your approach, delivery, and consulting styles so that we can better support online and distant learning. This can be accomplished by providing your instructor with a link to a recording of you speaking, which they will then listen to and provide you with valuable feedback on. This provides you with the additional benefit of ongoing support between the days of your personal training course, allowing you to ensure that you are continuing to develop and use your newly acquired abilities.
This works both ways; you may also expect your personal training course tutor to deliver recorded demonstrations and further explanations in the same way, depending on the circumstances.
Worksheets, case studies, and assignments will need to be turned in at various stages throughout the Level 4 Personal Training course that you are taking. We realise that you may not be familiar with this procedure, so in order to help you have a better grasp of what is expected of you, we will provide you with some examples of completed proformas.
